Sometimes the lights didn't all come on but the sky was beautiful. So what do we do? We go back, shoot the photo again and combine the two images to make the final.

Perhaps the landscaping hasn't filled in yet. No problem. We'll green the grass, darken the pavement, remove those overalls that were left on the railing ;-), or anything else needed to be done.
